I have joined ABA Administrative Practice and Tax Section Publications Committees. I am part of legal developments subcommittee of the ABA Administrative Practice Committee. I am also representing ABA Court Procedure and Practice Committee before Tax Section Publications Committee.

I am very excited to announce that I am attending ABA Tax Section Meeting from May 12th until May 14th in Washington, D.C.

In a recent case concerning the civil penalties for failing to report non-U.S. financial accounts on the Foreign Bank Account Report, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit surprisingly determined that FBAR penalties are calculated based on the number of accounts that were not reported rather than the number of FBAR forms that were not filed.

In October 2021 I was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.

I attended a great webinar focusing on resolving tax controversies with the IRS in the post-COVID time period.
