OSI/FCO Chevening/The University of Manchester

My one year master’s degree in Human Rights with law and political science pathway at the University of Manchester was supported by the Open Society Institute, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK and The University of Manchester. The scholarship is awarded to the candidates who will promote democracy in the home country.

Open Society Institute Human Rights Scholarship

My one year legal and social science research at the NGO in Czech Republic was awarded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundation. It is aimed to support development of the next generation of human rights activists. I was selected in highly competitive process-La Strada was one of the 31 organizations where internships were offered to more than 2,000 eligible candidates.

Thelma L. Schaffer and Newbrough Scholarships

For my LL.M. program at the University of Iowa College of Law I received two scholarships towards tuition: the Thelma L. Schaffer Scholarship and the Newbrough Scholarship. Both are awarded for J.D. or LL.M. students who are interested in international and comparative law.
